So when the pandemic really hit in mid-March, we reached out to our neighbors to see if anyone needed 3D printed face shields. To our surprise, our neighbor across the street said her company did – 100, to be exact. Our 3D printer could do ~5/day if we were quick to change out the build plates, so 100 was a TALL order. But we got it done!
We also produced a mess of ear savers towards the end of the summer, expecting all of the staff and students going back to in-person school to need them.
